Position: Principal Engineer (Plano, TX)

Duties: Develop innovative, real-time monitoring and analytics

applications for Telecom service providers. Analyze user requirements,

procedures and problems to improve existing monitoring and management

software systems and assist clients in controlling their complex telecom

and data networks. Analyze engineering data, business data and related

system issues to implement and improve architecture and other computer

systems, as well as increase network performance for telecom clients.

Perform development, documentation, and revision of design procedures,

and play a key role in implementation and validation, including test

procedures and quality standards. Review and analyze performance

indicators to locate code problems and create solutions. Leverage

object-oriented analysis and User Interface design skills to analyze

engineering and business problems, and assist in the implementation and

improvement of systems. Perform systems analysis, complex problem

solving, programming and systems evaluation, and consult with management

on system principles. Perform analysis of data structures, design of

system components, and research of algorithms in order to develop and

optimize existing monitoring management systems and capabilities.

Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer

Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field

and four (4) years of experience developing full-stack solutions and

user interface (UI) designs; or in the alternative, a Bachelor's degree

(or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering,

Information Systems, or a related field and six (6) years of experience

as indicated above.

Also requires demonstrated expertise (DE): designing and implementing

UIs and RESTful APIs utilizing Javascript and Java, and single page web

applications using BackboneJS, RequireJS, MVC framework, and Bootstrap;

DE conducting full-stack development for network change management and

mobile network monitoring applications; DE performing real-time

monitoring and analysis of enterprise and telecommunications network

protocol stacks; and DE developing real-time, embedded, multi-threaded

applications for historical performance monitoring on Unix or Linux

operating systems.
