Job Description:
A company is looking for a Manager, Underwriting & Operations to
lead the underwriting team for its Expanded Markets program.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage escalated underwriting calls, chats, and emails from agents
and team members
Train and lead underwriting staff on best practices and adherence
to carrier guidelines
Review and oversee the renewal underwriting process and maintain
relationships with carrier underwriters
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience
Minimum 7 years of personal lines underwriting experience
Insurance Property and Casualty license required
Experience in the Personal Lines Excess & Surplus insurance space
is highly preferred
Professional Insurance Designations such as CIC, CPCU, etc., are
preferred
