• Lead complex software programs with distributed teams.
• Provide technical solutions to drive the software architecture for the platforms.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define program requirements.
• Collaborate with project management teams to facilitate executions of the programs.
• Lead and manage Software Engineer roles, goals, and their career management.
• Hire and onboard managers and lead Software Engineers.
• Plan the annual budget for the programs.*Telecommuting permitted 40%: work may be performed within normal commuting distance from the PepsiCo, Inc. office in Plano, Texas.QualificationsJob Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science and ten (10) years of experience in offered or related role(s). Must have ten (10) years of experience with:
• Software Development - front end and back-end technologies including Native iOS/Android, React Native, HTML, and CSS.
• Seven (7) years of experience with back-end technologies & databases - Java, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Five (5) years of experience with cloud platforms - Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure.
• Four (4) years of experience with Software Architecture; software development management and people management.*Travel required 10% domestic and international, for project planning, team interactions, and team building to sites including Hyderabad and New Delhi.Salary: $206,190 - $255,000 / yearQUALIFIED APPLICANTS: Visit and search req ID # 343305 or job title.
