Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Critical Care Registered Nurse to join our team at CHRISTUS Health. As a Critical Care Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your critical thinking skills to assess and manage complex patient needs.Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex care to patients in the Critical Care setting, in accordance with patient treatment plans.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, utilizing evidence-based practice and critical thinking skills.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and technologies, applying this knowledge to improve patient care.Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of combined experience required in both the Critical Care setting and one other specialty (e.g. Medsurg, Telemetry, IMC or Emergency).
  • 5 years of experience preferred.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS required.
  • RN License in state of employment or compact required.
  • PALS required within 30 days of hire at CHRISTUS Children's Hospital or SPOHN.
  • De-escalation training is required within 30 days of hire at SPOHN.Work ScheduleTBDWork TypePer Diem As Needed
