Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our MedSurg team at CHRISTUS Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional patient care and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.Responsibilities

• Provide routine and complex care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practice.
• Assess and address the physical, psychosocial, social, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of patients and families.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care, modifying them as needed to meet patient needs.
• Implement patient care and therapeutic procedures, monitoring and documenting patient progress and teaching goals.
• Evaluate the care and treatment provided to patients and their response to care and treatment.
• Perform timely reassessment and documentation.
• Participate in unit-specific competencies based on the specific patient care needs for the designated unit's patient population.Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing, preferred.
  • 1 year of experience in the related nursing specialty, preferred.
  • BLS required.
