OverviewUT Health Quitman seeks a highly skilled Medical Laboratory Scientist to support patient care and diagnosis.Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and special laboratory procedures to ensure accurate test results.
  • Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement tasks to maintain laboratory excellence.
  • Provide support in new employee training and proficiency testing.Qualifications:
    • Baccalaureate Degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.
    • Current knowledge of clinical laboratory techniques and principles.Preferred Qualifications:
      • ASCP or equivalent certification.
