Job Description:

Description We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Emergency Medical Services Coordinator. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the health system and area Emergency Medical Services (EMS) providers, advocate for the hospital, and drive service line growth. You will have the opportunity to contribute to various initiatives and play a key role in ensuring collaboration across all care settings within the facility as it relates to EMS and disaster preparedness. Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain relationships with EMS services, hospitals, and the community
• Lead EMS patient volume growth initiatives
• Collaborate with hospital leadership to plan, develop, and implement EMS business plan strategies
• Oversee EMS and community education opportunities
• Coordinate clinical protocols and practice management guidelines with emergency department leadership Qualifications:
  • At least 5 years of pre-hospital EMS or hospital emergency medical service experience
  • Current certification as EMT-P/LP in the State of Texas
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification required
