TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Plano, Texas, 75075 Pay Information $1,617 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00, days/nights, weekend and call requirements to be discussed during the interview Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week Experience: Minimum of 2 years in hospital and specialty experience License: Active RN License (Temporary licenses will not be accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - MEDITECH experience preferred - TNCC, CCRN, TCRN certifications Job Description: - Provide specialized care for patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit - Manage patient ratios of 2:1 - Perform critical care procedures such as central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions - Work under the supervision of a unit supervisor and alongside patient care technicians - Utilize the Meditech documentation system for patient records - Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend and floating as needed - Follow specific dress code standards: royal blue scrubs, maintain clean and healthy nails, and ensure tattoos and piercings are covered appropriately - Maintain a professional appearance with neat and clean hair, pulled back if shoulder length or longer Join a dedicated team of professionals committed to providing exceptional patient care in a cutting-edge intensive care environment.
