TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVICU RN in Plano, Texas, 75075 Pay Information $1,617 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00, days/nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Active RN License (Temporary licenses will not be accepted) Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - 2 years of hospital experience - 2 years of specialty experience Job Description: - Work in a critical care setting with a focus on cardiovascular intensive care. - Manage patient ratios typically at 2:1. - Perform procedures such as central line insertions, arterial line insertions, thoracotomies, bedside tracheostomies, and chest tube insertions. - Utilize Meditech documentation system; prior experience is preferred. - Participate in a rotational schedule, including every other weekend, and discuss call requirements during the interview process. - Follow hospital dress code, including wearing royal blue scrubs and complying with grooming standards. - Comply with hospital policies regarding nail and hair styling, tattoos, and piercings. - Be prepared to float to other units as needed. - Demonstrate ability to work collaboratively within a team that includes a supervisor on every shift and Patient Care Technicians (PCTs). - Prioritize a positive patient experience and adhere to hospital standards.
