- The hospital operates as an open ICU, Level III Trauma, with
414 beds.
- Our team comprises 28 physicians and 2 APPs. We follow a
schedule of seven days on/off (12-hour shifts).
- Our current staffing model includes 12 daytime physicians, one
swing shift, two nocturnists, and one night APP.
- Total 12 admissions per shift (including at least two
admissions done by resident service).
- Precept family medicine residents.
- Supervise NPs/PAs and co-sign their notes.
- Respond to rapid responses (no code response required).
- Work in a closed ICU (ICU team available at night for
response).
- We utilize Cerner, which has access to our own internal
informatics platform.
- Compensation for a day shift rate is $1519, swing shift is
$1519, and night shift is $1860.
- Eligible for both productivity and quality bonuses, with a
potential total of up to $25,000.
- Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D
insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid
medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME
allowance.
- We accept both internal medicine and family medicine candidates
for the role. Purpose
- Many team members serve on various committees, such as the
medical executive, utilization management, quality review, sepsis,
and stroke.
