DescriptionWe're looking for a Neurosurgery Coder (Remote), working in Healthcare Systems and Services industry in Tyler, Texas, United States.Responsibilities:

Abstracting and Coding: Accurately abstracting and coding clinical information from inpatient, outpatient, emergency department, and professional fee medical records.
Compliance: Ensuring compliance with federal regulations and insurance requirements.
Documentation Review: Reviewing operative reports and progress notes to determine appropriate documentation.
Data Entry: Entering data accurately into medical office systems and software.
Communication: Interacting with physicians on coding issues and ensuring that billing systems are up to date and compliant.
