Role SummaryUT Health Athens is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging department. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.About the JobPerform CT studies/procedures for patients of all ages, utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease, under the general supervision of the CT supervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists. This position is subject to overtime and call back as required by the hospital.Responsibilities

• Obtain and maintain ARRT registration and licensure through the Texas Medical Board.
• Perform basic life support and follow established protocols for emergency situations.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate imaging results.
• Follow hospital policies and procedures for patient care and safety.Requirements
  • Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college.
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • 2 years of experience as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist or CT experience preferred.About UT Health AthensUT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center.
