Job Description:
A company is looking for a Supervisor, Coding.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the activities of 10 or more medical coders to ensure
compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
Develop and coordinate educational programs regarding coding
practices and trends
Monitor performance of coding staff and provide direction and
mentoring to ensure accurate coding
Required Qualifications
Associate's degree or formal training beyond high school
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Professional Coder
(CPC), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), or
Registered Health Information Technologist (RHIT) certification
Five to eight years of professional work experience in a health
plan setting
Five to eight years of risk adjustment coding experience
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in a related field
