Location:Home Health - Fort WorthDepartment:Rehab ServicesShift:First Shift (United States of America)Standard Weekly Hours:8Summary:The Speech Language Pathologist evaluates and treats, providing family oriented services to the home health patient with oral-motor and/or communication disorders secondary to developmental delays, neurological, musculoskeletal, and cardio-pulmonary impairments; as well as traumatic injuries and swallowing disorders. This includes patient and caregiver education; discharge planning; and consultation to other professionals, clinics, or agencies.Education and Experience:

• Masters degree in speech/language pathology or communication disorders or related
• Pediatric experience preferredCertification/Licensure:
  • CPR certification
  • State license or eligible for state licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech/Language Pathology, or eligible for application upon completion of Clinical Fellowship Year and must be obtained within 12 months of hire to maintain employment at Cook
