Job Description:

A company is looking for a Coding Educator who will improve provider documentation and create tailored education plans.

Key Responsibilities

Identify opportunities for improving provider documentation and develop education plans
Review medical records and arrange educational sessions with providers to enhance quality of care
Make independent decisions regarding work methods and follow established guidelines

Required Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish)
AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification
2+ years of medical record review knowledge
2+ years of combined equivalent work and education experience
Comprehensive knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
