play a vital part in upholding Capital One's commitment to

Security Event Advisor, you will assess privacy law implications,
provide invaluable guidance to all lines of business, and maintain
Capital One's compliance with all jurisdictional privacy
laws.Responsibilities include:
- Provide expert guidance to lines of business, ensuring
adherence to jurisdictional data breach laws, and corporate
standards and policies. Thoroughly document all actions taken
during data security events to ensure meticulous compliance with
applicable data breach laws.
- Forge strong partnerships with legal, compliance, and various
lines of business to facilitate timely and accurate customer
notifications.
- Foster collaboration with business partners, establishing a
robust network of contacts within the company to facilitate
research, root cause analysis, and defect remediation efforts.
- Take the initiative in independently leading and driving
discussions with multiple parties, obtaining crucial information
necessary for comprehensive event analysis and resolution.
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of fact patterns, identifying
regulatory obligations, and advising on measures to mitigate
compliance risks for the business.Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 3 years of experience in cybersecurity or risk
management
- At least 2 years of experience in an investigative or
compliance driven rolePreferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience with HIPAA, GLBA, and state data breach
compliance investigations
- 2+ years of experience in Privacy, AML, Fraud, Information
Security, Audit, or other white collar crimes investigation
role
- Certified Information Privacy Technologists, Certified Data
Privacy Solutions Engineer, Certified Information Security Manager,
GIAC Certified Incident Handler or similar information security or
privacy certificationAt this time, Capital One will not sponsor a

$145,500 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Risk & Analysis -New York, NY:
$139,100 - $158,700 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Risk & Analysis -Plano,
TX: $115,900 - $132,200 for Prin Assoc, Cyber Risk & Analysis

will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and
the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the
