Emergency Medical Technician Job Summary

As a certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in emergency medical situations. You will work closely with paramedics to assess patients, provide medical treatment, and transport them to medical facilities. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to emergency calls and provide patient care in a safe and efficient manner
• Assess patients' conditions and provide medical treatment according to established protocols
• Work with paramedics to transport patients to medical facilities
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatment
  Requirements
  
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Texas DSHS certification as EMT
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and work effectively in high-stress situations
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
    Preferred Qualifications
    
    • National Registry certification
    • ITLS or PHTLS certification
    • PEPP or PALS certification
    • 2+ years of driving experience
